The Victorian Women in Resources Awards are an important part of the industry’s approach to increasing awareness amongst women of the many career options within the industry.

Victoria’s minerals potential could position the state as a world leader in the renewable energy supply chain. The government’s Critical Minerals Roadmap outlines our approach to unlocking and developing these minerals.

This means even more career opportunities within the sector and more opportunities for women.

The Women in Resources Awards demonstrate the commitment of the resources sector, particularly the Minerals Council of Australia, to increasing workforce gender diversity.

This is the eighth year Victoria has participated in the awards, with all category winners to be announced in June automatically elevated to the national awards.
