Critical sessions about minerals development

Resources Victoria is kicking off a series of critical mineral drop-in sessions throughout the Yarriambiack region next week.

Resources Victoria is kicking off a series of critical mineral drop-in sessions throughout the Yarriambiack region next week.

The sessions will help landholders and people living near proposed mineral sands developments find out more about licensing, regulation and potential mining.

Coordinated with Yarriambiack Shire Council, the open sessions will be led by Paul McDonald, Resources Victoria's principal community engagement adviser for communities in the Wimmera and Mallee.

Paul and the team will be at the following locations:

• 16 September, Rupanyup Library, 10am – 2pm
• 17 September, Warracknabeal Library, 10am – 2pm
• 18 September, Hopetoun Library 10am – 2pm

There will be regular opportunities for people to find out more about critical minerals in the coming months.
